Principal's Corner

As we start the new school year at Kaiserslautern High School, it is important to be kind, responsible and give your best effort. These values will not only help you succeed academically, but also help build positive relationships and contribute to a healthier and happier school community.

Being kind to others is one of the simplest yet most impactful things we can do. Look out for your classmates, show empathy and respect for others, and lend a helping hand whenever you can. Remember, kindness is contagious, and even the smallest act can make a big difference.

Responsibility is also key to achieving success. Take ownership of your academic performance and prioritize your commitments. Don’t forget to be responsible for your words and actions, and always seek to resolve conflicts peacefully.

Lastly, give your best effort in everything you do. Strive for excellence and set challenging but achievable goals. Don’t be afraid of failure, as it is a natural part of the learning process. With persistence and dedication, you will achieve your dreams.

I hope that you will take these values to heart and make the most out of the new school year. Let’s work together to create a kinder, happier, and more responsible school community.

We are glad you are a part of our Kaiserslautern community!

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month - a time to recognize the importance of communication and to honor the professionals who make it possible for so many students to find their voice. Though separated by oceans and time zones, DoDEA SLPs have found a powerful way to stay connected and collaborate through a Microsoft TEAMS group that spans the globe.
